This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit RIWaterAndMold.com (the "Site") or call a phone number shown on the Site, and how that information is used and shared.
In short:
- The Site does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers, and it has no forms.
- Calls go through a call tracking provider and may be recorded.
- Call details are shared with the independent provider we connect you with.
Who operates this Site
The Site is operated by CCEVO EOOD, a company based in Bulgaria ("we," "us," or "our"). You can contact us at [email protected].
RIWaterAndMold.com is a referral service. We connect Rhode Island homeowners by phone with independent local water damage restoration and mold remediation providers. We are not a contractor, and the providers are independent businesses with their own privacy practices.
When you visit the Site
The Site does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels, or similar tracking technologies. It does not have forms that collect personal information, and it does not load fonts, scripts, or other content from third-party servers.
Like most websites, the server that hosts the Site may automatically record basic technical information in its logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. These logs are used only to operate and secure the Site and to troubleshoot problems, and they are kept for a limited period.
When you call
When you call a phone number shown on the Site, your call is handled by a third-party call tracking provider that routes it to a participating independent service provider. In connection with your call, the following information may be collected:
- your phone number and caller ID information;
- the date, time, and length of the call;
- general location information, such as the area associated with your phone number or a ZIP code you provide;
- your answers to any automated questions, such as the type of problem you have; and
- a recording of the call.
Calls may be recorded. Recordings and call details may be used to route calls correctly, to confirm that a call was connected, to resolve billing questions with providers, for quality control, and to prevent fraud. If you don't want your call to be recorded, please don't use the phone line.
How information is used
We and our service providers use the information described above to:
- route your call and connect you with a participating provider that serves your area;
- confirm and account for connected calls with providers, since this Site may be compensated by providers for calls;
- monitor quality, prevent fraud and misuse, and keep the Site and phone line working;
- respond to emails you send us; and
- comply with legal obligations.
How information is shared
- With the provider you're connected with. When your call is connected, the independent provider receives your call and may receive call details such as your phone number, the time of your call, and information you provided. The provider may use this information to follow up with you about your request. Each provider is an independent business, and its handling of your information is governed by its own privacy practices, not this Policy.
- With companies that help us operate. This includes the call tracking provider, telephone carriers, and the company that hosts the Site. They process information on our behalf to provide their services.
- For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, in response to a lawful request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of others.
- In a business transfer. If the Site or our business is sold or transferred, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
If you email us
If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and the content of your message, and we use them to respond to you.
How long information is kept
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including resolving billing questions with providers, preventing fraud, and meeting legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can choose not to call the phone line. If you've already been connected with a provider, you can contact that provider directly about information they hold.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity, for example by confirming the phone number you called from.
International processing
We are based in Bulgaria, and our service providers may be located in the United States, the European Union, or elsewhere. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
Children
The Site and phone line are intended for adult homeowners. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date on this page shows when it was last changed.
